Indoor gatherings allowed Monday as Montreal turns yellow

Montreal will become a yellow zone on Monday, meaning private indoor gatherings will be permitted for members of two households.

Restrictions will also be relaxed for:

  • Funerals, weddings, places of worship.
  • Restaurants and bars.
  • Auditorium and movie theatres.
  • Recreational and tourist site, including arcades, amusement parks, and youth hostels.
  • Visits to CHSLDs and seniors’ homes.

Here’s a detailed look at what Montrealers will be able to do in the yellow zone, by Katelyn Thomas.

For more on what is and isn’t allowed in yellow zones, visit the provincial government’s yellow alert-level webpage.
